Customer Success Manager:
Pegasus is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Success Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our key customers by providing exceptional support throughout their journey with Pegasus. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in customer success, inside sales, and project management to navigate complex projects and ensure seamless coordination across various stakeholders and departments.
The position is remote, with the option to work from our headquarters in Richmond, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
● Serve as a key point of contact for key customers in all US time zones, building strong relationships and understanding their needs and objectives.
● Review multiple data sources such as customer forecasts, internal sales reports, inventory on hand, etc. and extrapolate the required steps for implementation as well as predicting potential challenges and send out suggested actions.
● Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
● Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding plans for new customers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed for successful implementation.
● Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Pegasus products and services to existing customers.
● Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to maximize their success with Pegasus by having an in-depth knowledge of Pegasus’ products and solutions.
● Set up and train customers on Pegasus’ software tools
● Coordinate schedules and calendars across multiple stakeholders and departments to facilitate timely project execution and ensure customer expectations are met.
● Monitor and track customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention metrics, taking proactive steps to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
● Provide regular updates and reports to management on customer success metrics, project statuses, and key insights gathered from customer interactions.
● Assist Director of Business Development and/or Sales team in Quarterly Business Review reports, presentations, and metrics.
● Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to continuously improve our customer success strategies and offerings.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
● 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or electrical distribution industry.
● Proven track record of managing complex projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
● Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels of an organization.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
● Experience with spreadsheet software, such as Excel
● Experience with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot) and project management tools is preferred.
