The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. The ideal candidate must be located in or near Portland, OR or Denver, CO to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality, safety, budget, and schedule of assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans including schedules and budgets
- Provide regular project status updates and action plans
- Coordinate with Engineering Team Leads to prioritize deliverables and allocate resources accordingly.
- Maintain relations with strategic vendors and sub-contractors.
- Assist with negotiating contracts and master service agreements with clients and contractors.
- Lead change order negotiations with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain client relationships before, during, and after close-out of projects.
- Facilitate project close-out meetings
- Participate in risk reviews (PHA, LOPA, HAZOP) of projects activities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management-related experience leading EPC projects valued at $10MM to $50MM in some of or all the following industries: Renewable Energy; Oil & Gas; Chemical; Power; Mining; Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management highly preferred
- Proficiency in project management/scheduling software.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or progress towards one.
- Professional Engineer’s license or progress towards one.
