This position is a 2 month contract at 37.5 hours weekly
Dates: January 6th-February 18th
Age Levels: K-4th
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Create Lesson plans
- Provide speech therapy services
- Consult with students services team and general education teachers
- Write IEPs
- Conduct speech evaluations and screenings
- Determination eligibility for speech therapy services
- Chair speech only IEP meetings
- Number of students on caseload: 45
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Pathology from an IDFPR-approved or ASHA-accredited program and an ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, elementary school experience is preferred.
