We’re on the lookout for an experienced Program Director to lead high-impact, strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our global operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of game-changing initiatives that shape the future of our global business. Spearhead major programs like M&A integrations, digital transformation, customer implementations, and process optimizations, ensuring they align with our client’s vision and drive results.
- Forge and maintain powerful relationships with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Act as the linchpin that keeps program objectives aligned, fostering collaboration and making key decisions happen.
- Craft and execute dynamic communication plans to keep everyone—from executives to end-users—in the loop on program progress, milestones, and risks. Tailor clear, consistent messaging to ensure everyone’s on board and informed.
- Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and external vendors to ensure programs run smoothly across departments and borders. Break down silos and build a culture of cooperation to deliver world-class results.
- Stay ahead of the game by identifying potential challenges early. Develop creative solutions to mitigate risks and keep programs moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
- Oversee program budgets with precision, ensuring resources are optimized for success. Track financial performance closely and make smart adjustments to keep everything on target.
- Lead teams through transformational changes, from new systems to revamped processes. Provide support, guidance, and create a culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive efficiency and process automation across the board. Ensure every project is executed with precision and a mindset of constant improvement.
- Strategically manage human and material resources to ensure your team has what it needs to thrive and deliver extraordinary outcomes.
- Keep programs compliant with internal policies and regulations. Maintain top-tier quality standards throughout every phase of the project.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience leading large, complex global programs—especially within logistics or related industries.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification with expertise in both waterfall and agile methodologies. You know how to run projects like a pro, from start to finish.
- Deep knowledge in Operations, Finance, and Customer-focused processes. You’re a logistics guru with insights into supply chains and IT systems (Workday, CargoWise1 is a bonus).
- A motivational leader who knows how to drive teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver outstanding results - even under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You can influence senior executives, build consensus, and drive key decisions with ease.
- A proven track record of managing program budgets and aligning financial performance with strategic goals.
- Expertise in identifying and solving risks throughout the lifecycle of a program.
- Experience working across cultures, geographies, and business units with a global perspective.
- You thrive on ensuring every aspect of program delivery is carefully planned, executed, and monitored for success.
