Weber Gallagher seeks an attorney for the dynamic Medical Malpractice team in our Bedminster, NJ office. This role will represent healthcare providers and insurance companies in complex medical malpractice defense cases. The ideal candidate will have one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in defense litigation with a strong interest in representing healthcare professionals and institutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to handle cases from inception through trial including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation and court appearances.
- Analyze medical records, identify key legal issues and work closely with expert witnesses to develop case strategy.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions and other case documents.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and dedicated to flexibility and results beyond standard hours.
