Position Overview
The Homeowner Renovations Project Manager opening is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys managing processes, budgets, and deadlines. This position also requires you to have some sales/customer service abilities. You will play a significant role in all homeowner renovation projects. It is vital to have a vast knowledge of residential construction. The Homeowner Renovations Project Manager will need the ability to build quick rapport with customers and ensure that they are taken care of during the entirety of the project's timeline if you get energy from selling and executing detailed construction projects, producing quality renovations, and profitability. What will I do?
- Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors by the TN Homebuyers’ core values
- Run appointments with homeowners to evaluate their current needs
- Source for new business via social media
- Build quick rapport with customers and ensure great customer service during the entirety of every project
- Managing scope, budget, timeline, and paperwork for construction projects
- Complete projects at or below budget and at or above acceptable quality standards that will allow them to be marketable and sold or rented quickly
- Complete projects on time or early according to the construction schedule
- Manage costs associated with each stage of construction
- Source new vendors and establish relationships
- Responsible for deploying the vision and any new initiatives set forth by Senior Leadership
- Schedule and oversee seller repair amendment items once the property has been contracted to sell
- Google Suite
- Project Management Software (Contractor Tools, Construction Online)
What do I have to have?
- 5+ years of residential construction management experience
- Strong sales abilities
- Strong understanding of project management principles and processes
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
- Solid background in construction estimating
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects within a budget and timeline
- Desire to work as part of The Team
- Strong software and internet skills
- A high level of ambition and determination
- Strong communication skills via in-person conversation, telephone, email, text, and mail
