A community health center located under 1 hour to Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a full-time/permanent position. This health center was named one of the top five health centers in the nation for excellence in cultural competency. Programs at this health center have been recognized as national models. Here you will serve a diverse patient base and work with a dynamic team of passionate and talented individuals. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological evaluations and treatment including direct counseling therapy when indicated. Attendance and participation in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings, utilization, peer review and quality management programs. Coordinate and foster collaboration with community agencies and hospitals in the care and treatment of patients. Provide supervision and consultation to other disciplines as needed and work closely with other behavioral health and primary care clinicians for an integrated care approach.
-Hours are weekdays only, 8am-5pm.
-60 minute new patient intake visits; 20 minute follow-up visits
-No on call responsibilities
-Salary Commensurate with experience, beginning at $150K annually
-$5K sign-on bonus; half payable upon start, the other half payable after 6 months employment

- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist with three years experience.
- Certified by ANCC as an Adult and/or Adolescent/Child Psychiatric Clinic Nurse Specialist.
- Current valid and unrestricted DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registrations.
- US Citizenship or have authorization to work in the United States
