Position Overview:
This role involves coordinating materials, managing change orders, and compiling cost data. The Senior Project Engineer will assist with site inspections, compliance, and maintaining project schedules. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain project records, including testing, inspections, and progress photographs.
- Assist in developing and managing project schedules.
- Prepare, track, and distribute RFIs, submittals, and permits.
- Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor mobilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and lead closeout processes.
- Compile cost reports and forecasts for review with the project manager.
- Support field staff with inspections and ensure proper documentation.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good tenure at previous employers (preferred)
- Experience on at least 2 ground up projects from start to finish
