Job Overview
An excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to play a key role in the development of airfield and municipal infrastructure projects across. This role involves comprehensive civil engineering support for a range of project stages, from initial concept through construction completion. Key responsibilities include creating grading, drainage, and pavement designs, managing utilities and stormwater planning, performing quantity takeoffs, and drafting technical specifications and contract documents. The position offers hands-on experience in client collaboration, applying cutting-edge technologies and software, and may also include on-site resident engineering duties during project construction phases.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs, initial cost estimates, and permitting documentation.
- Prepare detailed design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Perform construction administration duties both in-office and on-site, ensuring project standards are met.
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Relevant coursework in civil infrastructure design, transportation engineering, water resources, pavement design, or construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to obtain an Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge, with successful completion of a Federal Background Check (clear record required).
