A well-established community hospital is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our growing GI team. This position is part of our succession planning efforts as we prepare for a physician retirement, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional care and prevent patient migration.
Position Highlights:
Employed position with a reputable hospital.
4.5-day work week with the clinic open Monday-Thursday.
1:4 call rotation, covering clinic, hospital, and ED calls with minimal night calls and manageable weekend consults.
Join a dedicated GI team consisting of a GI surgeon and an experienced Nurse Practitioner who manages new consults.
Practice & Surgical Overview:
Clinic: Includes 3 exam rooms, a private office, in-house lab, and sees an average of 20-24 patients per day.
Surgery: Flexibility to schedule up to 3.5 days of surgery per week, handling a wide range of general GI procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, and ERCPs (preferred but not required).
State-of-the-art facilities with dedicated GI suites both in the ASC and the OR, supported by a highly trained surgical staff.
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed base salary of $600,000, plus wRVU production bonuses.
