Akkodis is seeking an experienced Printer Technician for a contract role in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will have expertise in printer teardown, diagnostics, inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes.
Location: Boise, ID
Pay Range: $25/hr. - $28/hour on W2 without benefits
Advanced Technical Duties:
Perform complex teardown and diagnostic assessments on Client printer products, analyzing returned units to identify detailed root causes of product failures.
Document findings and maintain accurate records in reporting tools, providing insights that inform repair, salvage, or replacement decisions.
Use advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and document technical issues, collaborating with the client and technical team to resolve recurring problems.
Inventory Management & Organization:
Keep a detailed, organized inventory of replacement and returned printer units, including recording key information such as model, engine type, page count, and condition for streamlined tracking and retrieval.
Coordinate inventory processes to ensure replacement units are readily available and accurately documented, reducing delays in the replacement cycle.
Shipping & Receiving Support:
Prepare and package replacement units securely for shipment, coordinating with account managers, client representatives, and support staff to fulfill replacement requests efficiently.
Receive and inspect returned units, conduct thorough teardown assessments, and update inventory records with findings and recommendations.
Learn and manage shipping and receiving workflows, ensuring units are correctly labeled, tracked, and processed for accurate order fulfillment.
