We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Line Support Team Member in the automotive industry based in Marysville, Ohio. As a Line Support Team Member, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you will be the primary contact for IT related issues on the production floor.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve IT related issues on the production floor
• Install necessary software and replace hardware as needed
• Create and manage incident tickets to track and resolve IT problems
• Manage IT projects to enhance the efficiency of the production floor
• Replace Printers and deploy new equipment to ensure smooth operation
• Handle crisis escalation to prevent major IT disruptions
• Support the team by being knowledgeable about Windows and Linux operating systems
• Maintain a high level of organization and communication skills to effectively handle tasks and coordinate with the team
• Exhibit ability to work independently and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in production processes within the automotive industry
• Ability to travel for supplier meetings and onsite troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with team members and suppliers
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Linux platforms
• Proficiency in R Code is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with computer and printer hardware
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet production deadlines
• Ability to use radio equipment for communication within the production line
• Experience with Lexmark printing solutions.
