About The PositionTravel Physical Therapist Job Description
A Travel Physical Therapist provides therapeutic care to patients across various locations, helping them recover from injuries and illnesses. They perform evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through exercises and therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain. This role involves flexibility in travel and adapting to different healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Consultation: Meet with patients to assess their physical condition, symptoms, medical history, and referrals from healthcare providers.

Movement Diagnosis: Observe and evaluate patients' movements to diagnose dysfunctions or physical limitations.

Treatment Planning: Create personalized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs, focusing on improving mobility and reducing discomfort.

Therapeutic Exercises: Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall function.

Hands-on Therapy: Administer hands-on techniques such as massage or manual therapy to alleviate pain, promote healing, and improve movement.

Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate records of patient goals, progress, and adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.
