DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Little Birdy is partnering with a fast growing, dynamic construction company specializing in extreme remodeling and building of quick serve retail companies and restaurants like to recruit for a Director of Construction.
Requirements and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate:
- Will be accomplished in leading an estimating/purchasing team and a field team consisting of Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers and Superintendents across the company's areas of operations which include: PA, NJ, DE, MD and New York City 5 boroughs and Long Island
- Will possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience in commercial construction in addition to a clear understanding of construction requirements specific to work in NYC's 5 boroughs, and the City of Philadelphia (i.e. permitting, special inspections, agencies)
- Must possess experience leading teams directly, or managing/overseeing the day to day operations of large field teams in a project management capacity
- Will have field level, hands-on, detailed experience with front line responsibilities to deliver completed projects
- Must be comfortable and successful at client communications and stakeholder management
- Must be proficient in project management operating systems, as well as ready to learn & develop skills using new technologies.
Logistics
- The company is located in Exton, PA. The Director of Construction will report to work at the office in PA, but must be able and willing to travel throughout the Company areas of operation to interact with all construction personnel & client representatives on a regular basis.
- The position offers a competitive base salary with performance bonuses based on individual and company performance.
