Media Planning Specialist

**Summary:**
The Marketing team focuses on building awareness and driving customer acquisition for the company’s diverse range of services through various marketing channels. The Media Planning Specialist will help shape and execute media strategies for the company’s payment services.
As a Media Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing integrated media strategies. This includes managing workflows between external media agencies and internal teams, ensuring smooth strategy implementation, and evaluating media performance. Your role will also involve providing actionable insights to stakeholders, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the plan, optimizations, and results.
In addition to driving sophisticated media strategies, you will serve as a strategic advisor to your business stakeholders. You will guide budget allocation, media usage, and messaging strategies within creative materials, offering insight on branding and campaign effectiveness. Your ability to clearly communicate challenges, solutions, and recommendations will be key to success in an ever-evolving marketing landscape.
**Key Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, with agency experience being a plus.
- Expertise in creating cross-channel media plans for both performance and brand objectives.
- Proven ability to leverage data and insights to create audience profiles, develop communication strategies, and design marketing plans aligned with business goals.
- Experience with traditional media channels (OOH, TV), digital advertising, and social media, as well as how these channels work together in integrated campaigns.
- Strong background in measuring campaign performance using various testing and analytics tools, with the ability to present findings and actionable recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in working with syndicated research tools (e.g., MRI/Simmons, comScore) and social listening platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of financial services marketing or customer acquisition strategies is a plus.
