Adelphi is seeking a Medical Director to provide overall coordination of all medical care at a long-term care facility in Bennington County, Vermont (VT). Advise facility leadership on matters affecting the health and welfare of residents. Review, assess, and recommend updates to medical and resident care policies, conducting evaluations as needed. Communicate medical policies, procedures, and regulations to all medical staff and support administration in ensuring compliance. Participate in Quality Assurance Committees to conduct and report on monthly quality assessments to uphold resident care standards. Engage as an active member of key facility committees. Assist in developing strategies for ongoing employee health monitoring and coordinating care for work-related injuries. Organize and lead in-service training programs for nursing and related staff. Ensure all medical care provided by physicians and medical staff is compliant with state, federal, and facility administration regulations. Overseeing and managing the credentialing process for all medical staff and providers. Other duties as assigned by the facility's administration.
