We have an opening for a JDE Technical Analyst with a client in downtown Denver, CO. This position is a combination of JDE Technical/Developer skills and other technologies (like MS Power Platform). We don't need someone to know everything on the skills list below, just strong JDE experience and the willingness/aptitude to learn new tools.
This client does require employees to come into the office 2-3x weekly. Candidate should be local to Denver and willing to work in their office as required.
Senior ERP Technical Analyst
Position Overview
The Senior ERP Technical Analyst is a key contributor to the daily technical operations, administration, development, and support of the organization’s Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) ERP platform, along with related systems including the Perceptive A/P document management system, Nintex process management platform, and additional integrated applications. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this role may also participate in project assignments as needed and will require availability outside regular hours for maintenance, special projects, or urgent issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise, administration, and maintenance for the ERP ecosystem, focusing on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Perceptive, Nintex, and associated .NET-based applications.
- Assist with gathering business requirements and participate in the planning, design, documentation, and development of application enhancements.
- Coordinate with external vendors for application support and development initiatives.
- Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain JDE E1 applications using FDA and RDA utilities.
- Build and optimize business applications and data integrations using Microsoft .NET (C#) technologies, including web services and console applications.
- Utilize Microsoft SQL for data reporting, integration, and analysis, employing tools like SSRS, SSIS, and T-SQL as required.
- Lead data integration efforts in collaboration with ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Implement automation solutions and generate reporting using Microsoft Power Apps, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages, and leverage AI tools like Copilot Studio as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for internal applications and solutions.
- Diagnose, resolve, and document financial data-related issues, ensuring minimal user disruption.
- Collaborate with Service Desk teams to deliver Tier 2 support and provide high-quality end-user assistance.
- Adhere to IT Change Management and security policies, ensuring modifications and upgrades maintain compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the broader goals of the Enterprise Applications team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology roles.
- 5+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (Apps 9.0 or higher), with a strong understanding of its architecture, database design, and foundational tools (OMW, Security, UDCs, Navigation, E1 Pages, CafeOne, UDO).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in custom JDE software development.
- Proficient with Microsoft SQL, including T-SQL, with exposure to reporting tools such as SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with core JDE E1 Financial modules (Address Book, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Cost, Fixed Assets).
