Basic Job Functions:
- Schedule and dispatch loads to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or business needs
- Allocate loads to carriers, assuring a successful tendering process.
- Work with Customer Service, Production and Warehouse teams to maintain an up-to-date, accurate and balanced shipping schedule.
- Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements.
- Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of materials.
- Maintain up-to-date records for Shipping
- Participate, as needed, with freight rate negotiations and Maintain Relationships with Carriers
- All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Shipping/Dispatching experience preferred
- Supervisor and/or manager recommendation
- Microsoft Excel experience and Basic Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Must know basic math
- Must be able to read and write basic English
- Experience with D365 ERP system and TMS system
