This is a brand new hire, to grow out the team in the US within Business Development. The Snr Director for Business Development is being hired to support global lead generation, manage customer information data base, help with internal infrastructure establishment, and support branding and marketing activities.
This role has 50% travel and will need someone open to working across different timezones such as the APC region.
Responsibilities:
- Business development strategy activities for platform licensing and antibody discovery services.
- Lead the identification, generation, and management of business opportunities with companies who are in need of antibody discovery support.
- Evaluate alliance and partnership trends.
- Look after US West Coast clients.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and identify branding opportunities.
- Build and expand a business reference network.
Requirements:
- 10 years + of business development in life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry.
- Master’s degree or above in scientific disciplines preferably in life sciences.
- Experiences with Antibody-Drug Conjugate therapies.
- Good knowledge of biopharmaceutical drug discovery, CRO market as well as biotech industry is preferred
