Job Description:
Networks Connect is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Patient Access Supervisor, on behalf of our client, to oversee the administrative operations of their Patient Access/Financial Clearance Team. This role is pivotal in maintaining superior customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction, and achieving departmental fiscal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Patient Access team, including Admissions, Emergency Department, Laboratory, Radiology Registration, Scheduling, and Financial Counseling.
- Handle hiring, training, and day-to-day management, focusing on staff development and performance.
- Assist in financial management and quality assurance activities within the department.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and accounting staff for efficient patient placement.
- Rotate call, weekend, and shift coverage; flexible to work at different locations within the department.
- Implement and oversee quality control and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Associate's Degree (Required).
- Experience: 4+ years in healthcare, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, consumer relations skills, proficiency in hospital systems, Microsoft products, and project management.
- Certifications: CHAM Certification within the first year of hire.
- Language: Bilingual candidates are a plus.
