Falcon Square Capital LLC is an independent women owned broker dealer who specializes in providing access to the fixed income marketplace for its institutional customer base. FSC is looking for an Operations and Settlements Analyst. This position will be work in person from its Raleigh, NC headquarters, will provide integral operational support to FSC’s fixed income team, and provide top tier customer service to its client base. Additionally, this position will assist the compliance department and assist with other administrative tasks for the firm.
The candidate should be entrepreneurial and resourceful, and excited to be a part of a close working group of traders and staff. They should have a firm understanding and experience navigating the settlements process and will be required to monitor and implement new processes as updates to regulations demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Booking, allocating, and tracking transactions throughout the settlement process to ensure a timely and accurate process.
* Actively and routinely checking appropriate systems, and directly coordinate with the trading desk, counterparty, or customer to make sure all transactions are confirmed appropriately.
* Identify and correct any potential or actual trade issues. Proactively communicate with department heads and management to ensure all necessary steps were taken and parties made aware to resolve any transaction in question.
* Set up new accounts for new and existing customers in variety of systems.
* Create, maintain, and provide critical reports to Management on a routine and on demand basis.
* Resolve in a timely and accurate manor any daily mismatches, unmatched trades, and compile daily late trade reports.
* Assist in managing and reconciling daily trade blotters,
* Be aware of regulatory, department and company expectations, polices and procedures at all times.
* Assist with general operations department duties
* Punctual and consistent attendance
* Any additional duties that may be assigned
Qualifications:
* SIE and Series 99 FINRA Licenses recommended.
* At least 3 years of professional experience
