Role: Test Technician
Location: Fort Walton Beach, Fl. 32548
PR: $21-25
Hours: 7-5pm Monday-Friday, work every other Friday
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
The Electronics Test Technician is responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and performing services and repairs on assemblies, sub-assemblies, or systems.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level. 2. Work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments. 3. Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions. 4. Calibrate electronic test equipment and test stations. 5. Ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times. 6. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines and equipment. 7. Manage time to meet new production, return schedules, and budget. 8. Provide accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents. 9. Must be at the assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of the time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Required Skills & Experience:
• HS diploma or equivalent • - 2+ years of hands-on testing experience - preferably within avionics • Ability to troubleshoot and determine diagnostic issues after testing • Needs understanding of spectrum analyzers o If the outputs come out wrong, they have the ability to figure this out and assess why it isn't working correctly.

- Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary. - Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and component identifications.
- Ability to perform required test operations.
- General test equipment utilized (Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Frequency counter, and Power Meter). -
- Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity.
Education and Experience:
-HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of test technician experience.
- Advanced experience with MS Office.
- Working knowledge of digital and RF electronics.
- Successful completion of electronic technician training, AS degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent, preferred.
