Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (Variable start times between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Monday-Friday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Pending state license accepted
Certifications: BLS, NMTCB CNMT
Must-Have: Adult hospital experience, Siemens PET scan experience, start and maintain peripheral IV, handling of radioactive materials
Job Description:
- Perform PET scans and work in the PET department
- Potential transfer to a new facility with state-of-the-art equipment
- Handle radioactive materials and adhere to safety precautions
- Start and maintain peripheral IVs; handle challenging IV starts
- Preferred experience includes drawing venous blood, previous charge experience, working in a teaching hospital, and proficiency with EPIC charting
- The job involves floating within the scope to meet facility needs, possibly between two office locations
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Special Requirements:
- The role may involve working in a new PET facility equipped with a unique camera
- Scrub colors: Black, Red, or White
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Compliance with facial hair regulations for fit testing
- No significant background issues accepted
