SCOPE OF WORK:
Seeking a professional services resource to provide GIS (G/TECH) Technical Analyst services. Contractor is expected to work independently to do the following:
•Design and configure various enterprise technology solutions to support business units; develops detailed designs and defines user requirements by collaborating with process owners
•Document business processes and transaction steps; defines codes and values; address integration issues.
•Develop testing criteria and conducts testing; plans implementation strategies; communicates technical information to the user community.
•Analyzes the need for modification and enhancement to existing enterprise applications by evaluating effectiveness of current technology.
•Lead user group forums; performs workflow and process analysis; identifies impacts to business processes.
•Revises user and system requirements; design modifications and prepares change notices; integrates modifications; provides technical consultation and solutions.
Troubleshoots user obstacles and system problems through training and/or on-line support.
•High level of expertise in relational database design using Oracle DBMS.
•Thorough understanding of Oracle Spatial and Locator objects and functions.
•Mastery of SQL and PL/SQL.
•Knowledge of G/Technology software configurations through database metadata, assemblies, and supporting files.
•Expertise in database security techniques.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
•Knowledge/experience with Python, FME, .Net, ModelBuilder, Powershell.
