Blacklock Financial are partnered with an leading investment bank who are looking to add an Associate to their ranks. The Associate would sit within their Technology team.
Salary Band - $175,000 - $225,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This role works on sell-side and buy-side M&A engagements and equity and debt financings within the Investment Banking Group.
• Assist engagement teams in execution of equity and debt financing transactions, including public offerings, private placements and PIPE transactions
• Analysing business plans and participating in due diligence sessions
• Develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching
BACKGROUND:
• Ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in investment banking or financial services with exposure to Technology, Media, Marketing and Information Services (TMMIS) and M&A banking
• Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed technical skills including valuation and modelling
• Ability to manage direct junior teams on a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
• Series 63 & 79 preferred
