Ultrasound Tech needed asap
REQUIRED SKILLS: The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Ultrasound utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities.
1 year prior experience in general Ultrasound-Required. Required Certification/Licensing: (ARDMS) and BLS - AHA Radiology Ultrasound/ Inpatients and Outpatients
Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required: Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School. R.D.M.S. registered. 2 years training in Allied Health/College. Knowledge of all ultrasound equipment, their function, and operation of each control. Understanding of equipment and computer systems as well as the procedures for equipment service. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Knowledge of safety, infection, and disaster policy and procedures, including implementation of patient care in cases of an emergency situation. Maintains CEU Credits. Knowledge, Education and Skills Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience in ultrasound.
