An established metals manufacturing organization is actively seeking an Account Representative for their growing team. This position is responsible for communicating with our client's customers, providing account management, and servicing their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Create Sales Orders in our ERP system.
- Resolve and prioritize manufacturing delivery or processing issues.
- Define optimal truck loads that meet both customer service and company cost requirements.
- Respond to customer quality incidents and corrective actions.
- Receive and enter customer sales orders
- Respond to customer questions
- Track status of orders to meet delivery dates and contact customer when delivery dates cannot be met on time.
- Perform daily sales order maintenance to keep items current such as closing out sales orders, updating customer sales or order changes, update pricing, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience within sales/account management positions
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- Comfortable with using MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience with ERP applications
- Familiar with basic order fulfillment concepts.
