Management Consulting Firm that provides financial services to nonprofit organizations seeks a Financial Analyst
This is a full time permanent role with great opportunity for advancement and mobility. It is also a mostly remote role, 3 days per month in Downtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities include:
• Confirm and maintain receivable activities of assigned clients to ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Confirm receipt of all monthly and/or quarterly vouchers submitted to funder(s)
• Ensure timely submission of accurate client contract information to funder(s) for vouchers, budgets and related filing reports.
• Perform weekly review of account receivables and follow up with funders on outstanding payments
• Perform weekly review of cash flow for accurate accountancy
• Maintain and confirm a client review of accurate agency payroll allocations on a monthly basis
• Monitor the client’s contract(s) spending to maximize client reimbursement and General Ledger accuracy.
• Escalate all issues affecting a client voucher and/or issues with the funder to the Controller and Client Manager to proactively manage and resolve the issue for the client.
• Attend various team meetings and/or conference calls.
• Attend and participate in various client funder, contract and /or audit training.
• Perform other related tasks or assignments as needed.
• Review monthly financial reporting package for accuracy among all contracts
• Assist Controller in annual agency audits and behave as the lead for funder audits of contracts
Qualified candidates should have 2-5 years of experience as a financial analyst in the nonprofit world with government contract experience
Salary 80-90k base with competitive benefits and bonus potential
