Senior Civil Engineer -Environmental, Wastewater Treatment

Description:
Immediate need for a Project manager to coordinate day-to-day management of projects, client interactions, and technical staff development for Civil and Environmental Engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between our client and their project representatives, staff, and stakeholders.
- Perform business development work like writing proposals, lead cultivation, or proposing services to existing and potential clients.
- Work in close collaboration with other PM’s and staff.
- Assign Engineering staff work based on their strengths and individual goals.
- Develop construction design documents and specifications for a full range of environmental and civil engineering projects.
- Develop project design plans and drawings, including site layout, chemical and petroleum storage, grading and storm drainage, roadway, and utility infrastructure.
- Perform on-site contractor oversight during site investigation and construction activities.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations and be knowledgeable of NYSDEC stormwater drainage requirements.
Relevant past experience:
- Previous experience with site design and overall Civil/ Environmental engineering design.
- Previous experience performing Hydraulic calculations with an eye on stormwater requirements.
- Previous experience with Water Wastewater Treatment, soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air, outdoor air, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and/or other environmental media.
Qualifications:
- MUST have at least (7)+ years of related professional experience in Civil/ Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license desired, NOT required, or in the process of obtaining one.
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, Google workspace).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of relevant Federal, State, and local regulations.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPPER and 10-hour construction safety training.
- Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions and travel to jobsites.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering OR related field of study coupled with relevant industry experience.
