YOUR ROLE
The School Partnerships Specialist is a sales role responsible for building relationships with new and existing school partners. The territory for this role includes specific client target accounts in specific cities. This is a remote opportunity and travel may be required.
Preference given to candidates in CST or MST. Traveling for job related meetings and conferences required 30-40%.
WHAT YOU DO EACH DAY
- You will prospect and develop new business opportunities through various methods including cold calling, networking and referrals with new School Networks and own the sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- You will research and analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities
- You will lead the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the operations team.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- You will meet your quota responsibility by developing a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline in line with the addressable market.
- You will develop excellent relationships with customers where you are credible and trusted.
- You will expand our existing customer base by building and maintaining relationships with key customers.
- You will develop sales forecasts and collect, evaluate, and provide market, customer, and competitor intelligence.
- Tailor sales pitches to meet the specific needs and pain points of each customer.
- You will prepare quotations and respond to RFPs.
- You will travel as needed, approximately 25%

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Sales Capabilities • Demonstrates foundational sales capabilities, including a strong understanding of the sales funnel and an ability to effectively communicate Kokua’s value to potential school partners to overcome the competition. You are skilled in prospecting, lead generation and customer relationship management. You have a solid understanding of forecasting and the use of sales tools along with an eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

You seek out solutions that help School Partners and bring strong communication between School Partners and Kokua. You communicate professionally and warmly while keeping calm under pressure.
