Position: Investment firm is actively seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO. The ideal candidate is a passionate and confident individual who is well spoken, extremely organized, and an exceptional team player. This position is an extension of the company’s highly entrepreneurial culture and moreover, the CEO. This role will effectively leverage senior management, allowing the CEO to focusing on the most critical business priorities. The ideal candidate for this role possesses exceptional emotional intelligence balanced with a demonstrated track record of success. This individual is highly results-oriented, possesses the ability to think strategically, build relationships with colleagues across all levels of the organization and has strong communication skills. Additionally, he or she must have an excellent judgement to properly prioritize multiple and potentially competing demands in fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
Company Description: Investment firm with offices in San Francisco, New York, Miami and London. We have 250 employees between all offices.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide planning and support, including project management, analytical support, and support of strategic initiatives as required, including monitoring progress against key and often shifting priorities
Demonstrate clear instincts for prioritization and proactively identify opportunities to add value and leverage to the CEO and senior management team
Handle the day-to-day management of business planning and operational processes
Manage multiple agendas and conduct daily briefings to assess delivery against multiple deadlines and deliverables
Mastery of execution and project management, with accountability for meeting objectives across departments
Lead the development and execution of internal communications and logistics for key events, including accountability for organizing staff meetings, company town halls, offsites and executive travel and client agendas
Support the CEO in preparing impactful presentations for clients and internal meetings
Attend meetings with the CEO or representing the Office of the CEO and take the action to communicate key information and actions to the appropriate constituents owning all meeting follow-ups and actions.
Serve as the conduit to ensure smooth communication between the CEO and leaders across the organization
Proactively develop strong network and working relationships with various constituents across the company in order to accomplish tasks on behalf of the CEO
Work closely with the CEO’s EAs to continuously manage prioritization of schedules and meetings

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Ideally a former investment banker in the Technology/Software/FinTech sector
Exceptional organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize demands
Work with senior staff to optimize the CEO's calendar to align critical priorities
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor messages to different audiences
Ability to build trusting relationships and interact with all levels of stakeholders internally and externally
Team player
Negotiating skills, demonstrated collaborative and consensus building success
Proven influencing skills with success building relationships and the ability to achieve milestones
Exceptional attention to detail with strong process management skills
Ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of processes
Demonstrated success working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
High level of discretion and ability to work on confidential projects
Ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Technology and/or strategy background a plus
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University with a 3.5 GPA or higher
8+ years relevant work experience

Salary $120-$150k base
