Ovise has partnered with a multi-national conglomerate and represents its defense division. They are looking to expand their defense division and are looking for an Enterprise Security Architect to work on upcoming DoD projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive security architectures for large-scale DoD projects, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to integrate security into system designs and solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies tailored to defense environments.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including security architecture frameworks, diagrams, and technical roadmaps.
- Lead security strategy discussions and brief senior leadership and stakeholders on critical findings and project progress.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and cybersecurity teams, fostering a culture of security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Active security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of DoD regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, DISA STIGs, RMF).
- Proficiency in security technologies, such as firewalls, SIEMs, intrusion detection systems, and identity management solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred.
