As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and / or industrial HVAC equipment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed
- Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.
- Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment
- Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.
- Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems.
- Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device
- Work independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
- Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience or more repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment
- EPA universal certification
- NATE certification preferred but not required
- Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems, preferred
- OSHA 10 certification preferred

- Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
