Job Description
Georgia Certified School Psychologist job in a PreK and elementary school setting starting in the Fall. This is not a remote or virtual position. Must be willing to work onsite.
Educational Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology
- Completed a school psychologist internship
- Completed an Advanced or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Ed.S)
- Active Georgia Educator Certificate in School Psychology (Georgia Professional Standards Commission)
- National Association of School Psychologist (NASP)
Duties
- Administer school assessments for initial and/or re-evaluate for special needs.
- Response to Intervention.
- Familiar with various psychological assessment and tools,
- Participate in 504 meetings, MTSS and RTI.
- Response to Intervention
- Conduct and assessments to evaluate students' mental health, learning, and behavioral needs.
- Proficient in Georgia Online IEP software
- Individualized Evaluation Plans.
- Provide counseling, guidance, and referrals for special education .
- Work with students on the Autism spectrum, or with with developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, families, school administrators to to develop effective strategies.
