Overview:
Responsible for overseeing all aftermarket parts and service operations at the assigned facility, providing leadership to ensure a successful and safe operation.
Essential Functions:
- Achieve Parts and Service Sales targets, focusing on sales, margins, expenses, and net income.
- Enhance performance and productivity in parts and service.
- Direct all branch Parts and Service functions and manage personnel in compliance with company policies.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing elevated issues as needed.
- Maintain the departmental budget, providing corrective action plans as necessary.
- Drive new customer acquisition and growth of the existing customer base through offsite sales calls.
- Oversee investment dollars, customer fill rates, and utilize the Kanban process.
- Ensure the facility is well-maintained and make recommendations for updates.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and health policies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3-5 years of managerial experience in a related industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for occasional travel.
