Project Manager
Our client, located in NW Houston is adding a Construction Project Manager to their team.
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager has an overall responsibility to manage all facets of assigned projects while ensuring the highest quality is delivered to each client. This includes vendor/customer relationships, budgetary constraints, scheduling and labor.
Responsibilities
- Review project budgets and construction documents
- Request/Approve submittals
- Manage/Issue purchase orders
- Manage provided budget
- Change Orders- estimate, create change proposal and process
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors, suppliers and clients
- Coordinate labor, receivables and deliveries with team to meet scheduling requirements
- Attend or conduct site visits often to fully understand project status
- Serve as main Point of Contract thru Completion of project
- Participate in manpower meetings
- Monthly Accounting Work in Progress
Qualification/Skills
- Ability to read and understand Construction Documents
- Minimum 3-5 Years in the Construction Industry
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Strong Computer Skills, including WORD and EXCEL
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Organizational Skills and the ability to multitask
