Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing various clerical and technical tasks, ensuring the efficient processing of laboratory samples and contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience + associate's degree; Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with laboratory information systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling laboratory specimens and equipment.
