Our client located in South Houston is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our growing FP&A team. This role will play a crucial part in providing financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Do:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis professional, your role will be pivotal in offering financial insights and analysis to steer strategic decision-making. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining comprehensive financial models and forecasts, overseeing annual budgeting and long-term planning processes, preparing detailed monthly financial reports, and presenting findings to senior management. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive actionable business insights, while ensuring the quality and consistency of financial analyses, all while supervising a team of direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.
- Manage annual budgeting and long-term planning processes.
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and deliver presentations to management.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business insights.
- Ensure quality and consistency in financial analyses, guiding a small team of direct reports.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Preferred experience in the polymers, chemical or a related industry.
