Our client, a luxury travel company in South Florida, is looking for a Director of Digital Paid Media for a 4-month maternity leave cover to work remotely EST hours. This person will help to lead their digital advertising initiatives and drive brand awareness and acquisition across all digital channels. This role will oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of media plans across multiple platforms, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic TV, Digital OOH, and more. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director will manage a small, dynamic team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that media strategies align with broader brand and business goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the luxury sector, whether in fashion, beauty, hospitality, travel, or similar industries, and possess a proven track record of executing successful campaigns for premium brands.
This is a remote 4-month contract working EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive digital paid media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and acquisition across all channels.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic TV, Digital OOH, and other channels.
- Manage and mentor a small team of digital media specialists, fostering an environment of growth, creativity, and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, content, and analytics teams to align media strategies with broader brand messaging and performance goals.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Oversee media budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI across all digital platforms.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging media channels to continuously evolve media strategies.
- Develop relationships with media partners and negotiate contracts to optimize media spend and campaign reach.
- Ensure all digital paid media campaigns comply with brand guidelines and align with brand positioning within the luxury space.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in digital media strategy and execution, with a focus on luxury categories such as fashion, beauty, travel, or hospitality.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-channel digital media campaigns, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic TV, and Digital OOH.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with media analytics and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs and industry trends.
- Experience managing and optimizing media budgets and forecasting media spend
