I'm the systems medical director for Sound's emergency medicine practice at Memorial Health University Medical Center in coastal Savannah, Georgia. I welcome interest from Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners interested in a nocturnist role. - We are an established team of 25 physicians and 17 advanced practice providers (APPs).

Practice
- Nocturnist schedule, 7 pm to 7 am, approximately 14 shifts per month.
- Memorial Health University Medical Center is a level I trauma center, regional referral center, comprehensive stroke, and STEMI center.
- We have nearly every subspecialty within the hospital, making it rare to transfer patients elsewhere.
- Our APPs are employed and offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
Purpose

- Our team s dedication to the community is exemplified through active involvement in outreach and volunteering initiatives, such as Light the Night at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, local sports team support, Humane Society, and Habitat for Humanity, showcasing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our workplace.
- We are actively involved in several hospital committees, including bioethics, quality improvement, trauma, sepsis, stroke, and cardiology process improvement, which significantly strengthens our connections with specialists, hospital staff, and administration.
