Avera is seeking a Lead Sonographer!
Job Summary
The Radiology Resource Technologist for Ultrasound functions as an extension of the Imaging Services Manager to facilitate imaging services and develop immediate and future goals and objectives for the Ultrasound area. This position is also responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and /or training; and or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registration in OB/GYN and Abdominal modalities within six months of hire date is required.
Work Schedule
7:00am-3:30pm, occas wknd/hol/call; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
