A national leading geotechnical construction firm is seeking a highly skilled General Superintendent to oversee nationwide construction projects within the US. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, leadership, and communication skills and will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and success of major projects.

General Superintendent – Major Geotechnical Projects
Employment: Full-time
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Nationwide (with Travel)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations across multiple construction projects. Manage job site superintendents, foremen, and field personnel to ensure work progresses according to schedule, budget, and specifications.
- Skilled in interpreting construction drawings, assessing risks, identifying optimal solutions, and providing support to the department as needed.
- Proven leadership experience in guiding and supporting superintendents across multiple projects.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed.
- Inspecting, reviewing, and reporting project status against cost and delivery targets to the Project Manager.
- Responsible for Site Safety, ensuring the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, as well as manage compliance with established site rules and company safety policies
- Planning, organization, implementation, execution and controlling of the daily construction site activities.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a General Superintendent leading multiple projects in geotechnical foundations or ground improvement.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with techniques such as Drilling, Soil Mixing, Ground Improvement, CFA and Jet Grouting and other similar techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer aptitude.
- Ability to travel nationwide to manage projects.
