Job Description
***Only qualified Application Developer candidates located near the St. Louis, MO area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree/ associate degree
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, plus 2 years relevant technology experience or equivalent combination of education & experience preferred
Required Skills:
• 5 years of relevant technology experience
• Must have extensive experience with Power BI reporting
• Cognos and Tableau knowledge is beneficial - but Power BI is required
• Must have experience working in a team environment

The client is seeking an Application Developer with more than 5 years of experience.
Application Developer Responsibilities:
• Conduct workflow study and analysis of business practices: Document existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions
• Perform application lifecycle activities, including coding, monitoring, maintaining, testing, and debugging software applications; Follow established change management processes; Facilitate code reviews; Develop test plan development; Make recommendations for hardware/software solutions
• Provide support: Create, document, schedule, and support operational activities; coordinate with software vendors and external service providers; troubleshoot software bugs and provide fixes; provide off-hours support, as needed
• Leadership: Provide, cultivate, and foster excellent customer service; Promote adherence to departmental standards; Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
