About the Role
NeauSites is seeking a Software Developer to help build a data platform that supports real estate professionals—developers, brokers, occupiers, and investors—in identifying optimal site locations. Reporting to the Product Owner, you will focus on the technical execution, helping to design and implement a scalable platform for data integration and visualization.
As an early hire, you will have substantial influence over the tech stack, collaborating with the Product Owner to shape the technical foundation and architecture while driving the development process forward.
Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Develop core features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the product goals defined by the Product Owner.
- Data Integration: Build and optimize APIs for ingesting large data sets from multiple sources.
- Geospatial Mapping: Work with mapping tools like QGIS, Mapbox and PostGIS to create efficient data visualizations.
- Tech Stack Evolution: Lead the technical direction of the stack, making recommendations for performance and scalability improvements.
Required Skills
- 3+ years in backend or full-stack development roles, focusing on data-heavy applications
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with API design and integration
- Familiarity with geospatial tools (e.g., Mapbox, PostGIS) and data visualization
- Familiarity with Unity
- Ability to work independently within the framework set by Product Owner
