Role Overview: The Salesforce Technical Architect will lead Salesforce projects, guiding technical strategy and implementation to deliver enterprise-level cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Direct the Salesforce Development Team in designing and building custom Salesforce solutions, including work on Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, and data migration.
- Team Oversight: Supervise junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices across all development activities.
- Collaboration and Strategy: Partner with project managers, clients, and developers to shape project strategies, promoting seamless collaboration throughout development, testing, and deployment.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Maintain a proactive and adaptable approach to address evolving project requirements and client objectives, continuously identifying new ways to achieve project goals.
- Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Engage directly with clients, managers, and end users to understand project objectives and technical requirements, including custom applications, user interfaces, and Salesforce integrations.
- Support Assistance: Support the Support Team by addressing escalated issues, particularly those concerning custom applications, user permissions, security configurations, custom objects, and workflows.
- Solution Design and Code Review: Lead solution design sessions and code reviews, championing Salesforce best practices, recommending alternative approaches, and creating architectural designs.
- Project Estimation and Execution: Provide effort estimates for new projects and enhancements, develop, test, and address issues discovered during testing phases.
- Lifecycle Contribution: Follow an iterative software development methodology, actively participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and support.
- Meetings and Communication: Actively engage in meetings with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress updates.
- Quality and Accountability: Take ownership of deliverables, provide regular status updates, and meet quality standards within timelines.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Partner Communities, B2B Commerce, Service Cloud).
- Strong expertise in data modeling, integration, security, and customization.
- Proficiency in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and Salesforce best practices.
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, DX, Tricentis Tosca, and Oracle SOA is a plus.

Education and Certifications:
- Education: MS in Computer Science with 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect, OR BS in Computer Science with 8 years as a Salesforce Architect.
- Certifications: Salesforce Technical Architect certification or similar preferred.
