Cortina Solutions is seeking an IT Event Support Technician located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM for the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) to support Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for end-to-end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide customer IT support in the operation and maintenance of the virtual and physical infrastructure in deployed and on-premises computing environments
- Responsible for providing operational support across a wide-range of virtualized Microsoft Windows, client systems, and Audio-Visual (AV) services
- Provide support for a client base of Windows 10 and Office 2016/2019/Office 365 products across physical laptops/desktops and thin/zero clients
- Travel to locations within the INDOPACIFIC AoR in support of Multilateral Joint Exercises.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s and three (3)+ years of related experience; additional six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+, OR CISSP etc.)
- Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba switches
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN software
- Experience with Wireless controllers
- Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot ESXi, vSphere and Connection Server
- Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Must be a current US Citizen
- Must possess a current Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
