Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FDA and global regulatory compliance initiatives for packaging products
- Interface with customer regulatory representatives and manage response to regulatory requests via online databases
- Research and assess potential impact of legislative, regulatory, and policy initiatives
- Maintain and update regulatory systems and procedures
- Present semi-annual regulatory updates to Quality Managers and customers
- Implement GFSA/Food Safety Scheme compliance procedures
- Collaborate with material suppliers on regulatory matters
- Work with technical teams on migration testing requirements
- Attend industry meetings and disseminate relevant regulatory updates 📋
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Materials, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in food packaging materials compliance
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and global compliance requirements
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial laboratory settings
- FDA and EPA regulatory compliance background
- Closures industry experience
- Cross-functional team collaboration experience
- Food packaging materials expertise

Additional Details:
- Location: Downers Grove, IL
- Travel: 10% (primarily conferences and occasional plant visits)
- Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 base salary
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site position
