Job Description: As an Oracle WMS Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to clients in the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle's Warehouse Management System. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and operational challenges, and leverage your expertise to design and implement tailored solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings in their warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to assess their warehouse management needs and develop comprehensive implementation plans for Oracle WMS.
Configure and customize Oracle WMS to meet the specific requirements of each client, including workflow design, rule configuration, and user interface customization.
Lead and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for client stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clients post-implementation, addressing issues and optimizing system performance as needed.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle WMS features, functionalities, and best practices, and proactively share this knowledge with clients to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to deliver successful Oracle WMS implementations on time and within budget.
Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring that clients are always leveraging the latest capabilities of Oracle WMS.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS), including hands-on experience with implementation and customization.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management concepts.
Proficiency in Oracle WMS modules, including but not limited to Inventory Management, Order Management, Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
Experience with Oracle WMS integrations with other enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, and SCM applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
- Oracle WMS certification(s) preferred.
