Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager with 10+ years of experience in the power industry and proven leadership abilities. This role demands the ability to manage multiple projects, lead diverse engineering teams, and coordinate strategies with other managers to meet business goals. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, an understanding of various engineering disciplines, and a proactive approach to managing risk in the complex power generation sector.
Responsibilities:
- The Engineering Manager must develop and manage project budgets, scorecards, and timelines.
- Lead and allocate engineering resources for multiple projects.
- Plan and implement strategies to ensure timely project completion.
- Research and design solutions to enhance the repairs industry.
- The Engineering Manager must support training initiatives and procedure development.
- Collaborate with both field and shop teams as needed.
- Ensure engineering support for all Steampath products.
- Assist the operations team with review and approval of drawings, materials, and new equipment.
- The Engineering Manager must perform a final review of completed reports before customer distribution.
- Coordinate with third-party subcontractors for on-site operations.
- Foster the growth of an engineering team focused on OEM steam turbine repairs.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and guide team development.
Requirements:
- The Engineering Manager must hold a Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management.
- Must have 10+ years of engineering experience in the power industry.
- Must have Steampath repair experience and basic knowledge of Steampath design.
- The Engineering Manager must have some supervisory experience on the floor, for over 3 years.
- Must be flexible in shift as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- $120k-$160k/annum depending on experience
