About the Role:
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll work closely with our procurement and supply chain teams to identify, evaluate, and purchase the goods and services that help fuel our company’s success. Your role will involve supporting the day-to-day procurement operations, managing relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure we’re meeting our inventory needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with suppliers to source materials, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential suppliers
- Assist in negotiating terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and cost savings
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records, track orders, and manage inventory
- Coordinate with departments across the company to forecast procurement needs
- Address issues or discrepancies with orders, shipments, and invoices
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3+ years in procurement, supply chain, or a similar field
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with procurement software, Excel, and ERP systems
- Education: Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
